All Magisterial District Court docket numbers begin with ‘MJ’ and follow a similar format (Examples: MJ-51301-TR-0009999-2017, MJ-51301-NT-0008888-2017).
All Common Pleas Court docket numbers begin with ‘CP’ and follow a similar format (Example: CP-25-CR-0009999-2017).
All Philadelphia Municipal Court docket numbers begin with ‘MC-51’ (Example: MC-51-SU-0009999-2017).
Appellate Court(Supreme, Superior, Commonwealth) docket numbers begin with a number, followed by two or three letters, and then a four-digit year (Examples: 4000 WDA 2017, 4000 EAL 2017, 4000 CD 2017)
A citation number must be entered in its unique format, including the dash (ex. A5368532-1).
An offense tracking number (OTN) must be entered in its unique format, which includes eight or nine characters (ex. A 123456-1 or A 1234567-1). You can enter an OTN with or without the space and dash.
